Sean and his team were professional, extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and super easy to work with. We are so pleased to have found SMD Carpentry. We finally found the one and only carpenter we will continually be using for all future projects. Workmanship was superb. They are highly recommended.

Communicated with us every step of the way (unlike many other contractors we've dealt with in the past), was professional and courteous, and most importantly did an amazing job on our pergola and made our vision come to life! We had some exterior woodwork home maintenance to take care of. Most carpenter were too busy to take this small job. Ultimately S.M.D. Carpentry agreed to help us and they did a wonderful job even in the rain. They did more work without charging. They made some suggestions with some photos for prevention. I strongly recommend S.M.D Carpentry, they are responsible, honest, on time, clean and reasonable. We had to use SMD Carpentry again this year February 2021 and again perfect, wonderful work

SMD Carpentry replaced the stairs and adjoining siding on our craftsman style home. They did a great job of blending the new materials into the existing structure. Sean consulted with us throughout the project and it was completed on time and on budget.

Sean is a skilled and professional carpenter. He was organized, knowledgeable, communicative and did the work in a timely manner. We used him for a door frame repair and rotten siding along the side of the house. We would definitely use him again.

We hired S.M.D Carpentry to build a temporary wall with a barn door in our older home. We want to be able to take the wall out in a few years without damaging the original wood flooring in our home. I had high expectations to begin with, but Sean far and above exceeded my expectations beyond what I could have imagined. The care, detail and thought he put into the wall is incredible.
