Open six days a week, they offer haircuts, colours, perms, highlights, glosses, updos, blowouts, braids and extensions for women. For spa services, there are plenty of options, including a variety of manicures and pedicures, mink eyelash extensions, facials, waxing and airbrush spray tans. For men, they offer haircuts, colours, beard trims, facials and waxing.
Cutting Room The Inc
14055 West Block Dr Nw, Edmonton, AB T5N 1L8The team here offers cuts for men and women, plus colour (solid or double process dye jobs, ombre or highlights) and hair styling, including styling for special events. You can also book esthetics, skin treatments or makeup touch-ups here. There are more than a dozen staff members, meaning it’s usually fairly easy to book an appointment. The stylists use L’Oreal Professional products and INOA colour products.
Grateful Head Inc
11018 Jasper Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5K 2N8Located right on Jasper Avenue, this cheekily-named salon offers bold colour jobs and up-to-date cuts. This is a good spot if you’re looking to commit to a dramatic change in your look – whether you want fire-engine red hair or a bold lob (long bob). The stylists also do a nice job creating ombre hair that isn’t tacky.
Mousy Browns
10240 124 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5N 3W6This iconic hair studio’s downtown salon on 124 Street is the original, and offers up cutting-edge hair styling. Many of the stylists work at both locations, doing cuts, colours, perms, straightening treatments and extensions. They also use and sell Bumble and Bumble products here. Book several months in advance, as appointments tend to fill up fast.
