Edmonton restaurants to impress visitors

When you need to impress guests from another city (read: show off), you need to take them to the best restaurants Edmonton has to offer. Prove your culinary prowess/reservation-making skills by taking them to dine at these establishments.

Corso Thirty Two

1
10345 Jasper Ave Nw, Edmonton, AB T5J 1Y5

A table at Corso 32 on a Friday night is basically the Holy Grail of restaurant reservations. And for a reason: The food is incredible. A friend described the handmade pasta as “the best she has ever tasted” and a fight nearly broke out at our table over the fried short rib with shaved pear and arugula we tried to share.

The Parlour Italian Kitchen & Bar Ltd

2
10334 108 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5J 1L9

A great place to break bread with friends, especially if you’re into pizza. But there really is something for everyone on this menu – celiacs, vegetarians, fussy eaters, et cetera. The branzino fish with Yukon gold potatoes kissed with extra virgin olive oil is an exquisite dish worth writing home about.

RGE RD

3
10643 123 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5N 1P3

This restaurant offers a great sampling of all the amazing farms and food vendors in Alberta, including Four Whistle Farm, Nature’s Green Acres, Pilatus Farms and The Cheesiry. The rustic-chic décor reminds you that you are in the prairies; the phenomenal food reminds you of what our farmers are capable of growing.

Culina Café at the Muttart Conservatory

4
9626 96A St NW, Edmonton, AB T6C 4L8

Entertaining early morning visitors? Do they like flowers? And brunch? If the answer to both those questions is yes, take them to Culina Muttart at the Muttart Conservatory, where they can eat the city’s best brunch, as voted three years running by Avenue magazine. Their eggs Benedict are so tasty that sometimes the brunch-goers EAT ALL THE DELICIOUS BENNIES and the latecomers are left with (still good) breakfast burritos.

In April 2016, Conde Nast Traveler's Readers' Choice Awards for the Best Pizza in the World: The Top 14 Cities for Pizza placed Edmonton at number eight on the list. With a diverse number of fantastic pizzas to choose from, including hand-tossed, wood-fired pies with white or red sauce and fun toppings ranging from pineapple to pine nuts, you're sure to find one you adore. Buon appetito!
A first date can be make or break – increase your odds by picking the perfect restaurant. These Edmonton dining establishments will bring the cupids flying over to your table and help you get to that second date with their romantic ambiance and excellent food and wine.
Sometimes you need a little nosh between dinner and bedtime. Slim pickings in the cupboard? Worry not! Put down the bowl of stale chips and head to these Edmonton late night restaurants for a snack worthy of your time.
