10345 Jasper Ave Nw, Edmonton, AB T5J 1Y5A table at Corso 32 on a Friday night is basically the Holy Grail of restaurant reservations. And for a reason: The food is incredible. A friend described the handmade pasta as “the best she has ever tasted” and a fight nearly broke out at our table over the fried short rib with shaved pear and arugula we tried to share.
The Parlour Italian Kitchen & Bar Ltd

But there really is something for everyone on this menu – celiacs, vegetarians, fussy eaters, et cetera. The branzino fish with Yukon gold potatoes kissed with extra virgin olive oil is an exquisite dish worth writing home about.

Culina Café at the Muttart Conservatory

If the answer to both those questions is yes, take them to Culina Muttart at the Muttart Conservatory, where they can eat the city’s best brunch, as voted three years running by Avenue magazine. Their eggs Benedict are so tasty that sometimes the brunch-goers EAT ALL THE DELICIOUS BENNIES and the latecomers are left with (still good) breakfast burritos.
