135-10180 101 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5J 3S4This cute restaurant started off as a kitchenware store, and that’s still the part I enjoy visiting the most when I’m there. The store is chock-full of kitchen accessories, cookware and dinnerware, with high-end brands, such as Le Creuset. Zenari’s also has a ton of fun stuff from Alessi, like adorable ceramic bird salt and pepper shakers. Their website’s Feature of the Week highlights items you might otherwise have never known you needed. Plus, the store will special order a lot of items upon request from their more popular brands.
Barbs Kitchen
2-9766 51 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 0A6This place has kitchen gadgets I’d never heard of before (a dough docker?) to those I never knew how much I needed (a whip cream dispenser). There’s everything from tortilla makers to crème brulee torches to Spaetzle makers. For cookware, there’s plenty of stainless steel beauties, including Le Creuset and Demeyere, and ceramics, such as Emile Henry. It’s an awesome place to stock up on escargot dishes, butter crocks and cotton candy machines.
Hillaby's Tools For Cooks
101 Riel Dr, St Albert, AB T8N 1N1Located in the Enjoy Centre in St. Albert, Hillaby’s name says it all. They carry kitchen supplies from dozens of brands, including La Rochere, Vera Wang, Trudeau and Duck Soup. It’s all about quality supplies here, so it’s a good place to register for kitchen items when you’re getting married or moving into a new home.
