The Blue Fox Cafe

2
101-919 Fort St, Victoria, BC V8V 3K3

The Blue Fox has been serving all-day breakfast to the faithful since 1991, and it's obviously doing it right because the place is always packed. Located on Antique Row in Harris Green, it's well worth seeking out. Rest assured the menu offers the classics, but you can also experiment with less usual fare like eggs el jimador and bubble & squeak. Many of the sauces are made in-house, and the attention to detail is evident in every dish.

Pluto's

1150 Cook St, Victoria, BC V8V 3Z9

Pluto's is another Victoria legend. In business for almost 30 years, this iconic diner lives in an old gas station, the last remaining one of its type in Canada, in the Harris Green neighbourhood. Pluto's bread and butter is the classic bacon, eggs and home fries, and the equally classic omelette – you can't go wrong with these. If you're tired of lining up at the downtown breakfast hot spots, check out Pluto's.

There's something for everyone on the menu, including vegans and light eaters, and the service is fast and excellent.

Floyd's Diner

6
866 Yates St, Victoria, BC V8W 1L8

Floyd's has been part of the Victoria food scene on Yates Street since 2004, and in 2012, it opened a second location in Langford, just to spread the delicious love. Its signature dish, which isn't really one dish, is the Mahoney. When you order the Mahoney, take note since the cooks make whatever they want for you. Gimmicks aside, the people of Victoria love Floyd's.
