Montreal's Burger Week 2017

It’s that time of year again! Restaurateurs from Montreal to Vancouver - via the United States and even Port-au-Prince (!) - are competing to offer very delicious special hamburgers as part of the sixth annual Burger Week. The RUBS "Open Face" Burger - An 80/20 8oz AAA angus chuck burger formed into a cup and stuff to the brim with a mixture of aged white and yellow cheddar cheese, homemade bacon bits, a spicy pepper mix of hot Italian peppers and jalapeño peppers and finally a homemade ranch dressing. All Topped off with RUBS’ own bacon bourbon marmalade, tomatoes and lettuce on a toasted bun. For an additional sweet crunch they’ve added a cherry pickle wedge. Presented on an artisan brioche bread with mayonnaise and a caramelised reduction of raspberry sour beer.
