I have been going to Alice McBlane for over 22 years. She saved me from a HORRENDOUS haircut by some butcher that called herself a hair-dresser. Ha! I was SO grateful and pleased with Alice's talent, that I have not let anyone else even close to my hair since.
When I go to Alice's shop it is like being welcomed into her home. She makes you feel comfortable and relaxed (with soothing music), a nice cuppa tea and great conversation. I have come up with pictures or my own wacky ideas of what I'd like my hair to look like, but Alice knows my hair and gently tells me that my fine, baby hair will not suit that style. I trust her completely and she always makes my hair look glorious. I have never walked out unhappy with the style or colour.
Alice does that for all her customers. She absolutely works wonders. Alice really cares for her clients and is always so cheerful.
She makes you feel happy and walk with your head up high because you feel good about yourself after spending some time with Alice and that she's made you look 100% better than when you went in. I recently was introduced to Alice after a HORRIBLE color accident with my prior hairdresser. In total distress, I was given Alice's information from a very loyal customer and was encouraged to give her a call. I am sooooo glad that I did! Not only did she fix my hair color, but has helped me learn how to properly care for my hair and it is now gorgeous and healthy!!! Alice is absolutely superb in her style and color. I get nonstop compliments and actually was stopped by a drive by motorist to let me know how cute my hair was! She's walking distance from my gym and my pedicure salon. Very convenient!!
