I have been to several of the "big name" hairdresssers over the years, always disappointed after a while. I am one of those women with very fine hair with loss on the top. Alice is the ONLY hair dresser that I have ever been to who has made a BIG difference in my appearance AND the quality of my hair. I am a Registered nurse and I am very fussy. Her salon is clean and lots of fun. If you are looking for something different and are tired of the same old thing, I would recommend this salon.
My journey with Alice began several years ago when I needed some help with a hair makeover. She transformed me then and I was very grateful. She has helped me have more confidence in myself with the transformation she gave me. I have since met and married the new man in my life. She is very caring and genuine and I always enjoy my visit with her while she is working her magic on my hair. I also enjoy seeing her bird and how well behaved he is. I have been a client of Alice for over 20 years. She ahs done the most amazing styles which I have gotten lots of compliments. I have very fine and straight hair and she has transformed my hair to be a tangled sea of curls and wave that people have asked if I had a wig. During the years I have tried others who promised the perfect perm with a computer, but I only spent money and had to go to Alice to fix the mess, computers do not know the person. Alice is a great stylist who will tell you the truth, I have gone in with great pictures, only to be told that yes she could do the style but that my hair was not the right texture and would not be suitable. Yes, I was devasted that my pin straight hair would not be bouncy with curl and volume, but she always offerred a solution that was right for my hair and my busy life style. Alice is amazing and I will never trust anyone else with my hair.
I have been going to see Alice since March and I am so pleased with everything she has done for me. She really takes her time to ensure I am satisfied. I highly recommend her.
Alice has taught me so much when I use to work for her over the years. She is very well qualified and educated hairdresser and teacher .She has helped me become the excellent hairdresser I have become. i have had my license for 26 years now and I have travelled and educated myself along side of Alice many times. She has a very excellent heart. i have never received a better haircut than from Alice and would not let anyone even now cut my own hair other than myself. My daughter grew up hanging around this shop and she is 23 years old now and loves Alice cutting her hair. She also agrees Alice gives a number one haircut. i would recommend her to anyone, you will be extremely satisfied.
